Or maybe they might even take the trouble to knock on the door to deliver the parcel, instead of just sticking a note through to say that it's been returned to the sorting office, which is a 16 mile round trip. The local PO being only 150 yards from my door.

My tip, or advice would be have some pride in your work and take note of the numbers on the properties making sure it coincides with the addressee.

Usually, if an neighbor is home, they leave the package with them and an note on the door..... of whom has it..and address. Federal express especially.
