The temperature as I drove to the local store ten minutes ago was 32C and that my friends is at least 4 or 5 degrees hotter than I want it. Oh and I need a slight breeze too please.

So where's the rain that we complained about not that long ago? lol

Anna and I are waiting for the cold and the rain to be able to go on holiday!! Should be okay up and around the Golden Rule then eh Dave? I mean it always rains up there doesn't it?

What about you members 'Marmite' weather?

And I hope with a slice of lemon and ice too Neil. Smile

At work over the weekend, the outside of the steel fire doors seemed quite hot and measuring their temps, showed basking in the sun was 54C/129F by early afternoon. Brickwork was 40C.

In May they did forecast our summer was going to be pretty much a washout which pretty much guaranteed a heatwave ! I wonder why we haven't had a hosepipe ban already? The water comanies are usually quick off the mark with that.

Hi Paul

Yes got to admit G & T is my favorite tipple as you say ice and lemon is a must.

Just glance the lemon round the top of the glass for that first taste.

Crazy summer here also it has been cold through April and May with cold winds at night.

This probably won't help you Ron but one of my philosophies in life is ... ' if you can't do anything about it......don't worry about it ' and that unfortunately covers the weather ! ! ! !

After Paul's post I must be working in a fridge, but 98 degrees F seem to be the running temp in the shop but that does not count for each facefull of steam each time I stick me boot on the press pedal-----BUT , we are a cosy shop in the winter !
