It's in a state of disrepair if we believe what we are being told, and yes there are questions that need to be asked, but what is your experience of the NHS (nothing too personal of course) but have you had a good or bad experience?

What needs changing?

What's going wrong?

Are there too many 'Fat cats' draining the money from the system?

What do you think members?

Hi Ron

Trisha worked for the NHS in the late eighties to the mid ninties some of the things that went on then were difficult to comprehend.

The work was very stressful coupled with the constant waste of money in the NHS it had agreat effect on her health.

Hence our joint path in healing and meditation for others.

I will write the article and contact you when completed re your email.

The public are being asked to join an 'army of inspectors' to check NHS hospitals. See the details here

Too much stuff grows legs (without the help of stem cells) and manages to walk out of hospitals into private hands!

Regardless of whether it's an envelope, bandage or a hand wash it's stealing! I reckon we might be surprised what actually walks after a short spell in an NHS hospital, great physio eh?

Wastage was unbelievable. I know from my own experience working in the hospitals during the 1970's. Repairs were unheard of, if it was broken throw it away rather than get it repaired and why, health and safety!

Reckon it all needs looking into because it's costing us an arm and a leg, quite literally!

The rot set in when control was passed from medical staff to Managers. The rise of The Manager has destroyed morale and efficiency in many organisations, not just the NHS. Very occasionally, one comes across a good manager, but these are rare. Most Managers in my experience are aggressive, self-opinionated, over-paid idiots, sustained by a culture of cronyism.

100 per cent agree with that.

Our eldest daughter has an ongoing negligence claim in against the NHS at the moment for a seriously botched operation so I can't say too much at the present time. I can say the cost of putting the wrong right will have worked out easily into the 100 thousand pounds, if not more. One unspoken sentence by one surgeon could have prevented an awful lot of heartache.
