Here we go again, another bunch of 'do-gooders' who think they know what we want and as a result shops/stores will impose certain conditions before they will allow them to be sold from their premises.

Frankly, I couldn't care what they do with them, or where they put them and probably more to the point if they weren't on sale that wouldn't bother me either! In fact I can honestly say I wouldn't spend my money on any type of magazine let alone the 'girly' issues and lets face it, it's not as though we haven't seen it before is it, so I wonder who it could be offending? I wonder!!

But does it really matter who it's offending, because you have more explicit pictures in your daily newspapers! So what are the publishers going to do there, blank out parts of the picture maybe, tear the page out before you buy it? lol

And then will they ban or cover up the male equivalent? Might need a few lengthy stickers!

Once again it's probably a minority of faceless people who shout loudest at those who supply and then sell these magazines, and once again it's the minority that somehow get listened to because I would suggest the majority don't care!

What happened to our Human Rights? Yeah, that's it where's my Human Rights, I want them on sale in every shop and wherever the owner cares to display them, or surely that's his Human Rights being affected also, because he can't make a living can he? His takings will be down and he will be unable to feed his family.

Yeah, c'mon you lilly livered shopkeepers it's your Human Right, yeah c'mon shout Human Rights and lets have the lads mags where you can sell most of them and help the country out!

I want my Human Rights, yeaaaaaaaaaaaah!! lol

I don't know about covering up the mags Ron, someone ought to cover up some of the sights (male and female) walking around our towns and villages in this hot weather - do some people not own mirrors Surprised

On a serious note though, I agree, to many 'do-gooers' sticking their beaks in where it's not needed. I don't care where they put the magazines or who's on the cover, I can't even remember seeing the Nuts magazine in our local Co-op and I'm in there several times a week.

Well, I couldn't care less. Some scream about how these mags objectify and demoralize women but in the end if women respected themselves more and refused to pose in them then they wouldn't exist would they? This of course with the exception of countries where women are kept as s** slaves and drugged and forced to appear in these mags against their will.

Impeccable logic here. It would be unseemly for me to admit to buying such mags, but from what I am told, the women appearing in them do not appear to be unhappy or coerced.

I have no need to buy these mags, but if I wanted to, that's my right, and also, it's the shop keepers right to sell them and display them wherever in the shop, why don't these do-gooders mind there own business, always trying to run our lives for us, we all have minds of our own

Well said Mike. They usually acheive the opposite of what good they set out to do anyway simply cos everyone gets so p***ed off with them. I got a wife so see the real thing every day....scary as it may be ! ! ! !   These girls get paid for smiling so if they are happy with it let them on (or should be off) with it. And what ever happened to Freedom of Choice

Must agree with Mike and Dave on this if a shopkeeper wants to sell this material surely it must be up to him--he is the one paying the rates on the business not them.
