Well from yesterday if you get stopped by the Police for same it could cost you £100 and 3 points on your license. It was interesting and almost unbelievable what peoples perception of what the middle lane was for, when interviewed on the television news yesterday. Tailgating is another that they are issuing fines for (and so they should in my opinion) Another cash cow, who said that? Maybe it is, but this one I think is right (lane hogging that is) except for the huge fine. I think they should be forced to attend regular road safety seminars. I mean at least once a week for a couple of months, they would soon get the message after that. |

The standard of driving on our motorways is appalling in my opinion. Also people calling the third lane the 'fast lane' gets right up my nose too, it isn't. I wish some of these awful drivers could witness some of the sights I've seen at road traffic accidents - might make them think a bit more about their own standard of driving.

Had an example of a truck doing it to me just yesterday, they obviously think...I'm bigger, I can do it because they will move, I didn't and they get even more rattled! Hmmn, not very professional! |

This is after they've got themselves nearly into the rear of the vehicle in front of them. Then they think you should move. Most of the time it's the ones without the 'well driven' number on the back. |
