I spent a long time, over a couple of years, converting all my LP's to digital and copying to CD. Long job but i listened to every track on every LP. Brought back som great memories.

We've still got a load if LP's stored in a big box. I won't get rid of them but I have considered buying something to convert them to digital. I have software to do tapes but not vinyl. May be a thought for the future, I still wouldn't part with them though.

There is a free software called AUDACITY that is very good. But if you have the cables to attach hifi to the computer to do your tapes you should be able to do the the LP's with the same programme I would have thought

I use Audacity Dave to convert the audio tapes, quite impressed with it and it's easy to use. I don't known if you've ever wanted to convert DVD's to digital, I use Handbrake, it's really quite good. I have the Mac version, but I'm sure there will be a Windows equivalent,  I use it to convert films to iPad/iPhone/iPod format.

I could not sleep last night...so I listened to coastocoasr....what an

nice Hollween story....and true one....book just came out about it...you can see more about that one their web site...9 hunters...went out together "hunting"...they  had one big tent..I think they said this was in Russia somewhere.  They found all 9 people, scatterd about with in one miles or so stark naked and dead, one of the women had her tongue cut out...they said she talked an lot....she was found unpside down in an ravine over an creek. Who, or what killed them? They found knive marks inside the tent as if everyone was despareatly trying to get out of the tent, but no goot prints were found around the dead people, no animals tracks, nothing that indicates an avalanche, and helicopter maybe landed with special ops, nothing. Several of them had fractures apparently from falling. So goes the book and the author's investigative research as to how these people were killed and whom might have done it. But for the radio show...he didn't reveal everything he wrote about in the book.

I cooked all day long, I make the apple/raisin/kale salad, and couple huge dishes of homemade chicken enchinlatas....and saw my siste rin-law for an bit, did some more shooping on the freezer refill, raked leaves, walked my daily walk and now I'm tired to boot tonight. No scout meeting...tonight is an school concert. I left the sister in-law some salad and some pumplkin pie with whip cream and an turkey tv dinner to eat when she feels like eating. Which means...it's bathtub time for me. Talk to you all later on. OH...we got our tax statement for the property taxes...they raised them $168...claiming our house is worth more and those houses up for sale are having an hard timeselling these days. So we pay this year for basically nothing more as to our money needs. It wiped out the Obama raise last year for higher cost of living. So we go an little more without...while they took 16 days and $10,000 more every hour for their time. Greedy scumbags as Ron would probably say. Leaves fell today like snowflakes in an blizzard. This keeps up the trees will be bare of any leaves.
