Hello all

Been a rough week, am able to sit up more and move about more. I thought it funny that the surgen told me he found a hernia along with the appendix that both needed to be gone, said " I'll just make this a two for one surgery ! ( "how thoughtful I thought)

So, what's for tea and where?

Well, I called the sister in-law today..she's not saying much, said she hasn't had an "cat scan" as of yet...so don't know what to think. Iwished her well, and that was about it. Went over to see the sister in-law, she's back today from being at her sister's house after herhip bone surgery replacement...my brother will be with her today and then takes off for an week. So she sais she may be calling to me to make an fire in their woodstove. They don' tuse their electic baseboard heat..they feel it's to unsafe to use. So they have no heat without the wood stove running. Reminds me of watching the shows about the houses they sell up in Alaska. No electricity/water/or heat source most the time without propane or an creek near by or an lake, and kersocene lanterns. Still primitive wilderness in many areas. They are still using wood panels over windows and doors to keep the bears out of the house also. I can see why Sarah Paulin (politican) was quite the hunter..she probably had to be. I am still picking and cleaning things around the house here trying to get ready for the Holidays.Straightening up and tossing out. I found an receipe for sweet potato soup with toasted peanuts and molasses crème topping. Topping sounds an bit fattening. To go with it...hearty Slow Cooker Beef stew, and my kale/apple/raisin slaw...and scarecrow cupcakes. Them I use from Fall into Thanksgiving before it all comes down for Christmas.

Good to see your doing well Rick..such an ordeal now...so many people in our family need medical attention...sissy goes in the last of Novemeber for her titaniaum ear bone implant surgery. So I don't know what will be going on then. I better get going, time is going real fast for some reason today.Talk later on.

Morning everyone

Just setting off to have the car tested rain forecast here  today will have to watch out for the crazy Spanish drivers, they will not slow down even though the roads are like skating rinks after such along time without rain.
