You been nibbling on sweetbreads Sue? lol

Obviously (and you of course, will know it) Sweetbreads are not bread over here! Thought it might make you smile...

Ron, Ron, Ron!

That is why I put a space between sweet and bread. Guess it didn't work, eh.

Yes, sweetbreads are the same over here. In fact I was offered one (lmyp node of a cow) just the other week in a Basque resteraunt.

We atr in an dry spell apparently..send us some rain...not an whole lot but enough to keep things damped down an bit.  sister in-law just went back into the hospital again, this time for an cat scan..her daughter is with her. she's really having an hard time accepting this unusal weather patterns in her life this year. she sounded really good the last time I talked to her.

Ok, freezer was defrosted...and filled half of it up and left two shelves for the meat come Thanksgiving and through New Year's Eve "specials"...as sometimes that is my gift to others. Just bought an paid for my hubby's Christmas gift also...it' snow sitting in my livingroom. Only mine is left for right now. Besides the carpteting, which I know I can' t afford...I need and fan above my stove replaced, it go tburned three years ago...looks horrible in my kitchen. Paint peeling off it and everything. That's about another $200. Then I'll work on the entryway stairs and that soiled carpet,,,so bad you can' t clean it any more.

I can't remember if "sweet breads" were brain or intestines. Over here I think they call them the Hawaiian King's Bread made with pineapple "sweet bread". I noticed the English have an wider palet for the kinds of meat they eat...like in Pennsyvania...nothng goes to waste. But I also thinks it takes an mighty good cook to make them worth the eating also. I Hauled over the green bean casserole today and some cranberry-orange and cinnamon-apple breads and hickory smoked with bacon baked beans to the daughter in-law preparing for the Holiday meals ahead. I forgot the frozen Texas sized rolls..later I guess. Still lots to do and Holloween isn't here as of yet. I go for now.

Afternoon everyone, we've had to go out in this awful weather to buy a new fridge, the old one, well if you can call 10 years old, decided that it was going to give up on us last night and warm everything instead of cooling it. New one arrives tomorrow morning, we've got free delivery and they take the old one away free of charge so that's not too bad.

Another £139 that we could have done without spending Frown
