Don't worry about your spelling Rick, we're just glad that you can check in with us.

Your young (still under 50, thats young) and will heal up in no time. Be good to yourself, eat right and DON'T over-do it.

There, you've had your orders from one who has had over ten surgeries and knows what she's talking about.

Weather is lovely here. Hubby started his vacation from work. He always gets time off around our wedding anniversary. 29 years on the 27th,

Keep on keeping on.

Get well Rick, nice to hear all went well Babara...I told you weddings were special reguardless of anything trying to infer...Happy anninversary Sue......sounds like everyone should be in pretty good shape by Christmas....Ive just about lost 12 pounds now. Though I have many more to go before I consider it safe over the Thanksgiving Holidays. Another five pounds and I should be down to what I was last year this time. Tomarrow the freezer gets defrosted, so I can load it up with Turkey's and Hams and Roast Beef through the holidays. I do it this way and then add one shelf of nothing but bags of ice, just in case we lose power along the way. Then will check the propane in the BBQ out in the garage...so if the power does go out...I have an way to proceed with the Holidays untouched by interference. First year I smoked our turkey...it rained like cats and dogs outside...true I was on the patio...but if you don' t think it wasn't wet and miserable, cold and windy...I just decided "no way" after that year and changed things an bit. It's been mostly "pot luck style" the last serval years out at my kid's house. I picked up my sister today an took her shopping..went ot "The Barn" kind of like an Farmer's market...and then to the grocery store and then shared an few things with her...she's got enough ground turkey to make an huge pot of chili...and the fixin's to go with it also...including the honey cornbread mix. I just had an 400 calories mini-apple pie with whip cream and didn't get off the 900 calories for today...Whopee! See what happens when your busy, not enough time to eat.

Ok, if St. Louis wins their play-off tomarrow....then the St. Louis Cardinals play the Boston Red sock in the world series...my huubys an Cardinal fan, my granddaughter an die hard Boston Red Socks fan...I told my daughter in-law should that be the case, I'd be out there to collect bets on whose gonna win, cause either way...I'llwin from someone in the family...ha!  May the forces be with you people.I must go, I'm tired, long day and lots to do tomarrow and lots of salads to make up also.  I wonder how much "comfort food" my two rivals can down load during the games. Grandaughter...Strawberry cheese cake....hubby probably chili burgers with cold beer for starters. Have an good weekend everyone!

Good morning..well my sister did her thing...was on my diet and gained three pounds from yesterday and don't know why. She has never wanted me "thin" you know. My compuer is on the fritz today also currently doing nothing...supposedly fixing my files though so unusable. I'm on hubby's computer right now. I was sitting at the desk of my computer...and I leave the ventiian blind up an bit so I can see the pretty tree colors out the window...and looked up to see the neighbor's cat staring in the window looking at me with great big green eyes about an inch or so away...like to scared the jeebies out of me....and when I did back off...it took off....and it was dark outside by then...so those alien eyes were looking their October best...there was an partial moon eclipse last night...moon was big an round and white coming up. Portland lost an shipping company that delivers goods for Fred Meyer..an major retail chain here and Columbia Sportswear....the workers affected are an $250,000 weekly paycheck locally.. that help them unload things at the Port of Portland docks. Nothing small to the local economy....they sited the reason for breaking relations as labor troubles and higher prices,I must go for now...if you want to see something different, over in reddidt.com in the picture thread, there's pictures of knights in armor and explain some about it that I though was interesting.
