Hi James

Just booked the car in for its test hope it passes next Tuesday all mod cons now in Spain just go to the test station key in the number and wait till your registration flashes up on the board and drive through the allocated lane.

 Hope everyone is okay today.

Afternoon everyone. James thanks for the update on Mike Smile

That sounds like an easy way to test the car Neil, we could do with something like that here instead of having to hang around waiting for ages.

All's well here bar the weather, torrential rain at the moment.

I used Ancestor.com for a year, but the pirces are ridiculous. I now find out that our church has it in the family history centre, so I will just go up there.

It was 17º F this morning  cold.

The sun is out though, and its going to be a very pleasant if somewhat chilly day.

I believe the Mormon Church has a massive database Sue, and theirs is free to use.

That's cold, hope you're keeping warm enough indoors Smile

Yes, they do ...Church of Latter Day Saints, and many of the smaller churches have computers to access their genealogy..but let me remind you that much of it is people's opinions as to ancestory lines also. But so far some of the searches have revealed exactly what I already figured out on some of the people. There's an old saying..."Shirley was correct". So those "un-correct" have now left me out of the family and wrote up what they wanted to begin with anyway. So goes, I never see them anyway, so it doesn't exactly matter. They carry on like head bubba though these days. I think silvia said it most approprietly..search your own heart for the answers...your part of the blood of the family and it's been instilled within you..an living testament to "God's" workings..

Good morning everyone...well day two of  house confinement waiting for the new phone to be delivered. Hope it comes sooner then later today...I have much left to do around here. Haven't even left for my daily excerise either..not good. But so goes, maybe I needed an bit of an rest also. According to todays paper my sister will get $11 less food as of January..but Obama gave us an 1.7 coast of living  raise in Social Security checks..so it might off set things an bit. If we had the $10,000 an hour in pay that congress is making wasting our time we probably wouldn'  thave to worry about where the food is coming from next year. Beautiful day today...so better get going for now.
