Chough

The bird on the Cornish coat of arms. Our friend in Padsow used to own a fishing boat called The Chough.

  Guess who is feeling chuffed with themselves, yes Ruth it is indeed the Chough on the coat of arms.

             Never seen one yet let alone take a pic, when I was on the Lizard earlier this year the was a member of the Chough Watch sat there in a wild biting wind . She and others are mostly there recording any sittings but alas not while we were there. She said you mostly hear them before seeing them with their distinctive call. One Day !
