  They are pretty well only down on the Lizard I think since their return about ten or so years ago, not heard of any up around Padstow- but that does not stop your friends seeing them down on the Lizard.

             Well done on seeing one yourself - if only on a coat of arms in an I- Spy game.

          Like a crow with red legs and beak and a bird on the coat of arms for Kernow even though for a number of years they were no longer around in Cornwall, a few in Wales and others over in France. When there was a change in farming practise on the Lizard it recreated their feeding conditions and gradually the numbers are increasing ( still only just under a couple of dozen though.).

I wondered why our friends from the UK always want to go to Rhonda when they stay with us, there is an abundance of Choughs to see they nest in the cliff side in the Gorge that divides Rhonda no close ups in the video
