But then again who ever believes the Daily Express If it does snow Dave should get some lovely photos of Ambleside, he goes on Saturday I think. |
Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 18:31 on 2nd December 2013 Good morning... playing around here on rather it's going to snow or not also...I watched Government Camp this morning up at Mt. Hood and it was snowing like the blazes and my son took on the job of working for ODOT (Oregon Department of Transportation) from his boss, whom arranged that when the guys can no longer haul logging trucks... because of winter....so I was looking for him on TV this morning. They apparently follow the snow plows laying down sand on the road and de-icer....Highway 26 over Mt. Hood, but particularly around Government Camp. It was just plain nasty weather here yesterday...raining like crazy, blowing wind ...an day to stay inside and by the fireplace and I did too...watched TV...Christmas Programs. One about an Christmas Resort that this gal's father wants to tear down...and in the end they both end up realizing that getting in touch with humanity and themselves for Christmas isn't so bad...Polar Express, and Disney's animated version of "Scrooge". Tonight comes on the first "Country Christmas" Show. I worked on the house yesterday...kitchen done...bathroom done...hallway done...picture wall done, tree is up, but not all the way decorated, living room done pretty much, but still have the downstairs and one item outside that isn't lighting up properly. All the food is gone but enough turkey to maybe make an macaroni salad with it...not to bad, it was shared with everyone and we ate four different meals that I didn't have to make from it all. I guess I get going, my back hurts this morning an bit, and my mouth (jaw line)also...so I think it's going to snow...it usually brings me the aches and pains when it gets cold outside. Kind of trying to get back on my dieting again and excerise... coughing also...I'm detoxining myself off all the work around here I was doing I think....as I don' t drink. It's an restful day for me in ways when ti comes to Monday's....Talk to you all later on.
