The historic ship building yards at Portsmouth are to close. BAE Systems who have a monopoly on building warships for the UK have announced that 1800 jobs will go in both Portsmouth and Scotland, although Scotland will continue.

Could it be anything to do with Scotland going their own way in gaining independence? Oh no, no, surely not!

The closure will also have a knock on effect with many smaller companies in the area, but will anybody dare guess what will replace the industry? Probably fill it in and build homes for immigrants.

Another fine decision by Cameron/Clegg (our laughable Government) who say via the Chancellor that Britain is on the mend.

Suddenly a lot more redundancies are coming to light throughout the UK and not just in Portsmouth (we are on the mend) b....dy jokers!

Electricity, Gas continues to rise and nothing gets said or done about it. Thames Water wanted to put up their charges but were TOLD by Ofwat not to increase their prices so why doesn't the same apply to Electricity and Gas, why aren't they told NOT to increase prices?

Everything continues to rise in price and yet some can keep their horses warmer than most of the people in the UK - how can that be right?

We vote in a load of do-gooders who have one thing in mind and that is to line their own pockets one way or another as soon as possible. Why do we do it, why do we put up with it?

Please don't forget what they are doing to us when they try to soft soap us just before the next Election.

Anyway, enough to discuss here already so what say you members?
