The charities that need support in my opinion are services such as the air ambulance, the lifeboats, heart foundation, cancer research and many more, but birds and animals in Countries far and wide? I say protect the kids and support the services in our own Country first, but leave the animals alone and they will look after themselves. And for those worried about Tigers, Elephants and Rhino's? It's simple, deal with the poachers who make money out of selling ivory by making an example out of them...shoot the poachers, they would soon get the message! What say you members, have you noticed how much they are asking for on a daily basis via the television? Add it up, it's ridiculous and it should be stopped. I certainly don't pay my television licence to be bombarded with this rubbish. |

I'm a member of the RNLI and have been for years, as well as paying my yearly membership if we are out and about I'll generally put some change in the RNLI box or the local Air Amubulance or Coastwatch. As for the animals looking after themselves, yes I agree, shoot the poachers, then the animals will be fine.

Oddly enough I have had numerous charity letters this Christmas with cards address labels pens etc but although I live near the sea and we have a lifeboat in town I have never seen a charity letter and do not know where they collect |

Annually, Monthly, send what you can £36.00, £24.00, £19.00, £25.00, £2.00 it's b....y stupid! I agree with all your comments above incidentally and reckon the whole business of 'scrounging' via television should be stopped. |

Anything that comes through the door goes straight in the bin. My boss had been supporting a charity, not sure which, for 10 years or more bt monthly DD. He stopped supporting them this summer when they rang him and asked if he would like to consider increasing his monthly donation ! ! ! ! |

But if indeed there are miracles...woul dit help to asak for massive healings and finaincial problems solved by people getting togther do do what they can with what they can. Pets need hlp as much as many of the aborgines thathave chosen genocide over living because they can' tmake out in nature any more and they don't know what money is and how to get it. They only know that the land isn't there's to live off of, they can't get to the herbs they need to heal, the wood for their fires, nor the food to feed themselves off an abundant land. The clean water is going also, the fish are dying....so are birds, insects, trees, and animals to usethier hides to keep them warm and dressed in the grasses to weave. They are in the plight of many animals also dying off in massive amounts these days. Tell you what...keep closing your eyes to the planet"s abilty to sustain life... over driving your new car...and watcht us all die some day. Our planet was given to us in "abundance".....and your correct...the only thing it is producing are people in an abundance someway of pure " need"......people come up with solutions...but not without the pay-off others expect first...for them to have teh solution. WE really need to work at that everyday right now....what's truly important....and how do we achieve it for everyone. |
