Well, someone messed the begining of that post......hum.....I am looking for an old castle.. in ruins...history called "Hawghlee"..by some and "Hagoneth" by others...in an one liner written by William Camen...and e- books.... into the Visions of Britain..reference books web site also. But this is the ONLY reference I can find about it.

Ok...your weather...get this one....kind of condensed in my own words....This name of Aldburgh is by interpretation....The OLd Burgh...upon the River Ald..in Suffolk county. A harbor for sailors and fishermen. Now there was an time, as in the year 1555, by reason of unseasonable weather that came about throughout all England as was blasted in that year, there grew pease (peas) miraculously among the rocks, without any earth at all about them until about the end of September... and brought down the price of corn. (William Camden)

Back to my writing.......

Afternoon everyone, we've no car and no electric so we won't be going far. But others are worse off so I shouldn't complain.

It's just come back on John, thankfully. It's still raining here, doesn't look like it's going to clear anytime soon either. Tomorrow is forecast to be brighter.

Hi to all POEsters...

Knee is looking good, but as you might expect painful. I did just take a picture of it after 15 days. Very little bruising, bit behind the knee, but overall a good job (I think) at this stage.

Sincere thanks to all at the NOC Hospital, Headington, Oxford.

I have Sue, we've had a few exchanges of emails in the past three weeks or so, she's fine, no idea why she's stopped visiting POE though.
