I had an Great Uncle in Bury, we used to visit when I was little, he bred Budgies, there were hundreds of them in his garage, all different colours. Boy what a noise though, and as you say very tying, I should imagine it's difficult to get someone to look after birds as well. |

No driving anywhere the car is in for a service and there is a problem. Apparently VW Passat estate cars have all the wiring for the computerised electrics in the passenger footwell. In the previous few months we've had an array of annoying lights and warning sounds coming on for various reasons, airbag, oil light, fuel warning light when it's full etc etc. They also have a problem with water getting in the passenger footwell too. Our mechanic has found a gallon of the stuff in the electrics, so the seats are out, the water is being drained, the electric circuits repaired and he's going to try and stop the problem happening again. Expensive I suspect - so much for German engineering |

My aunt Kath & Uncle Bert had a Budgie. When you walked through the door it would say 'B_g_er me!'. My mum was mortified that her precious little girl was being exposed to such vulgerism. Didn't stop me visiting them though. |
