I've never had birds James. I had an Great Uncle in Bury, we used to visit when I was little, he bred Budgies, there were hundreds of them in his garage, all different colours. Boy what a noise though, and as you say very tying, I should imagine it's difficult to get someone to look after birds as well.

No plans here, weather too bad, Sunday might be better for a walk. No driving anywhere the car is in for a service and there is a problem.

Apparently VW Passat estate cars have all the wiring for the computerised electrics in the passenger footwell. In the previous few months we've had an array of annoying lights and warning sounds coming on for various reasons, airbag, oil light, fuel warning light when it's full etc etc.

They also have a problem with water getting in the passenger footwell too. Our mechanic has found a gallon of the stuff in the electrics, so the seats are out, the water is being drained, the electric circuits repaired and he's going to try and stop the problem happening again.

Expensive I suspect - so much for German engineering Frown

My aunt Kath & Uncle Bert had a Budgie. When you walked through the door it would say 'B_g_er me!'. My mum was mortified that her precious little girl was being exposed to such vulgerism. Didn't stop me visiting them though.

size parrot though..he was an gory I think she told me. Talked up an storm also..he had an stroke and died one day. Brother just got an dog, looks half way like my misty dog and half way like my charlie dog with one eye brown, and one eye blue..she's an "pit bull"..white with an few brown spots. they named her angel"...my neighbors name a couple houses away...his hispanic, my bird was tropical SW island bird.

Turned to rain so I don't know if the guys will go to MT. Hood or not with the kids for an day outting on Saturday They are still young enough that they can wait an bit longer before snow camp starts...so it's not like an required trip.

Spent some time this morning with my sister..cleaning out  my small freezer out back..I'm on time with it so far this year. I rotate my groceries so they don't spoil on me throughout the year and I can go from one season to the next better...and stay ahead of things. I guess I should get back to writing...glad ot hear your winds are dying down an bit though...let's hope the rain subides also back to normal.

Happy Valentine's Day...steaks and restruants on TV are everwhere in the commericals today.  Gesh!....no, I don't love ya for your steak dinner. ((((Hugs))) anyway POE!
