Hope this finds water levels dropping and flag flying weather approaching, in a town where we opened our second law firm office is (for the first time in years) is actually running out of places to put snow, and there is another 10 to 20 inches expected over the weekend and the snowiest part of the year begins in Feb. !!

Hope the afternoon is treating you all well.

Good morning.....I now declare the state of Oregon..closed for the day.No schools are open, no city halls are open, people are asked to stay home and inside and drink hot choclate...wind chill makes it 7 degrees outisde...but Mt. Hood got her foot of snow yesterday and there's one more snow squall headed here for late this afternoon with another 2 to 5 inches of snow and then it starts warming up and into rain all next week...if it stays colder at Mt. Hood so it's snow, things will greatly improve. It's kind of pretty, pristine white and still out there and partly sunny right now. I would guess we maybe got about 3 inches since yesterday...just enough to cover the grass up with.

I stayed up last night with John Lawson, Lord of Frawkgrave, York County. Writing down the will of one George Lawson...whose house later became the property of Bernard Shaw's son..so this one makes an good canadate also to of had family came to Colonial America. From them comes the Lawson Barons of Wilfred Lawson later on also. They married an female Swinnoe lady, so figures whythey are in thier records, and the Ingleby's are their Lawyers. for the most part they mostly look to been into church affairs...perhaps as much for protection as anything.this place this fella lives at was named Washington after the man who built the Wasghington manor of "old Hall" thier seat for later on Geroge Washington...the Lawson house was in an place called Little usworth. But he has considerable other property. I still think this was an old Planegenet line at one time also..and I think it was an templar knight at one time also.. The swinnow family became to wards of the Stationary Guild in London that has to do with copywritng material foe literary guilde. That is what our George Lawson was doing here in early days..he was an clerk in Richamond, Virginia..as well as having been said an teacher at one tme also..to the Native Americans, maybe through regious factors also. they were hell bent you know... to "christainzed" the native Americans back then..teach them to speak English. we also have an line of "George" ove rhere that was into shipping tobacco to Bermuda and owned his own ship. But the ones said kind to my hubbys worked for the early Governmental offices in his older years.I'll have to check out some of the names associated withthis will, one of them appears to be quite famous as an "Quaker" also. I can only say that from King Henry VII onward..to after Queen Elizabeth..there was much dis-satiaction conerninr the royal lines.I would say its an time of much dissatisfaction and deaths by executions. they were lucky to be up north more so then most Englishemen...but they didn't get left out of it completely. So I talk later and do soem more research work on them. Have an good day, looks like an good one to keep something hot to sip on today.

We've been very lucky here, there's something to be said about living in the hills, we may get snowed in occasionally, but I'd rather have that than floods.

Meal was very nice James, we opted for the Indian in the village, it's lovely and always packed with people. I never eat too much, in fact I probably just about eat enough to stay alive after my food poisoning episode 8 years ago. Child portions or I'm ill Frown If I manage to put a bit of weight on we celebrate.
