When I said an year ...Ron...I meant he scars will be over with and you will be walking like you never thought you could. and wearing an pair of of summer shorts, looking unscathed... and not know you ever had an knee problem.

I'm probably waiting my time, But...I'm looking for Littleberry Lawson whom married Polly Shirham...whom they are calling "Sherman" and its not right...she was an "Sherill" by name..whomever wrote that did incomplete job of the researching work.  I found an record thatJOhn Lawson of Lancaster Co., Va sponsored an Elizabeth Berry in 1637. James Berry was her husband and they were of Accomack, Virginia. Sometimes the spelling is done phonetically and other times it's not, but it could also been an Barry/Bray group of name also. that leads me to Berryville, Virginia...11 miles south of West Virginia. Granted by the Crown to Capt Issac Pennington 1734, surveyed by George law Major Charles Smith, son John Smith in 1797 sold 20 acres to Benjamin Berry and wife Sarah Berry (Stribling), who laid outthe town of Berryville. I had thought the JOhn Smith I was looking for was the son of Col. John Smith..at any rate...he is in Chalkley's court records in Virginia taking in the "orphan" James Lawson...I feel was most likey part of LIttleberry Lawson's children...which I'm trying to peice together. William Larkin was sponsored in 1650 by John Smith also...ore likely Capt John Smith of whom Pocahantas Indian maiden saved his life...though she married JOhn Wolf and went Gravesend, England, her son later returned to America after her death. Perhaps James Lawson was an brother to John Lawson also. I have further records of him also, as he turns up for the will/land grant of James Herrod, in Ohio and an chief Wycliff...whom managed to kill each other in an kind of duel and fight all in one. This James was living in the area of Kentucky near Daniel Boone...and was an good friend of his...Authur St. Clair so like James Harrod that the gave all he owned to him at his death...Authur St. Clair  was given Ohio to tame in many words. Whycliff was an old and trusty "Scout" from this area and in service to the needs of the American Revolutionay days...but it also concerns an Nathaniel Lawson also. I'm feeling fortunate that most these people have their European legacies attached to them also.  This is really getting hard to do these days as so many records now no longer exist as they did or are changed. But this is what I made time for until the wee hours of this morning looking up.

Petra mentioned going to Mt. Lassen and seeing if she could communicate with "Ishi" spirit...so I had to look him up also. I don't have to much more time left to work on this research and writing.

Isabel gave me these children for Littleberry Lawson m Polly Shirham. ...Nathaniel m. Martha Ann...William m. Delilah Riley (our line), Benjamin m. Mary Devine, Berry m.Amanda___?, Chesley m Caroline Matherly, John A (or H) m. Eleanor O'Neil, Betsey m...Burton, Polly m. Nimrod Riley, and Sally m. Mullineck...child of John Lawson. She listed all her resource information mostly in the way of land deeds and the property on Glenn's Creek, Kentucky.

Which involved my Strawn kindship of Racheal Reed (Read)...namely he sold what was called the best spring water source for making distilled liquor in America...and later sells his rights to the Distillery of Jim Beam..mostly known for Burbon and/or whiskey. So much for last night...it leaves me not getting much done during the day time sleeping...about four hours after I wake up in comes hubby from work and dinner. I must go for now as they say.

Wind last night wreaked havoc all over the county in fallen trees...across two new cars in an parking lot..one an Lexus, into the windshield of another with an limb, into the passengers side, in North Portland and shut down our Max line into Portland right when everyone was getting off work. It's suppose to die down here pretty soon..and hope it does. They clocked it up at Corbett in the Columbia Gorge at 77 MPH before it broke the recording instrument. So, I talk to all of you later on...have an good day.

George Washington was Pennington's surveyor...and Benjamin H.Harrison, later president... for Zachariah Lawson's Glenn's Creek Taverns...I was given the land grants for those also by Isabel...her side an Graves family kinship. Three Graves m. three Lawson's.

Daniel Morgan was known in Berryville...and Jim Morgan was an Lawson reasearcher that we use to communicate with on John Lawson. The Elizabeth Berry I think we are related to was the daughter of Rev. James Keith out of Faquier Co., Virginia...in legacy she married an Mr. Berry...I take it he was killed by Indians perhaps...Richard Berry married the sister of Hanks family, her aunt Berry...mother of Abe Lincoln. The little cabin Abe grew up in Kentucky was owned by Richard Berry. He was also living as next door nieghbor to Abe Lincolns grandfather in Virginia. I gotta get going for now.

Hi to all POEsters...

Hospital visit yesterday, they measured current knee bend capability at 85 degrees, they want it to be 120 degrees. Wow, a lot more work to do yet then, but keep taking the tablets. Fortunately the infection that I had appears to be under control. That said the pain remains on forcing the muscles.
