I need to be careful how I phrase things as well.

How many of you have been the 1,000,000 visitor according to one of the adverts on the right hand side of the page here on POE. It is odd how they get round to 1,000,000 again so quick !

Good evening, its been very windy and lots of heavy showers today,

Went to Topsham  hoping to get a Ferry over the River exe. but didn't give the tide a thought , so no Ferry until it was too late, so did a river path walk to Countess Weir not far from Exeter, not the the best of walks, so will cross that one off our list,

Good evening Pat, sorry you missed the boat, so to speak. It's been awful here, not only wind but sideways rain, not the sort of day to venture out.

We always say Ruth that we are Mad everyone else wouldn't have gone walking in the storms and wind that we have had. but we just like to keep active regardless, we are not ones for sitting about, have tried it for an hour but then gets itchy,

I'm not that lonely...just ask our senior Scouts they were commenting one time that I knew everyone one in town...though that doesn't mean they are my friends... just because I know them. I just like to talk. Most the time I have an reason for everyone I talk to also. But it's true, the talk these days is kind of "business talk" more then friendship...you know, got to be an reason of money for saying anything. I've been working very hard this last two years with the neighbors to be more neighborly without any strings attached. Back in the days when you could be nice, just because you could be. The kind of people I knew and grew up with, where veggies were shared occasionally...and brownies made...and people just said "Hi..How you doing today"?We got an long long way to go as of yet. Sometimes some of the most hateful people are in the our family also thse days. I just had an expensive lousy dinner because of an four year old "playing" in an resturarnt to be eating in..not screaming...like an four year old outside at the local park. But I'll remember the other dinners I had that I enjoyed because of it all I guess. Was really irking my grandson also....he didn't eat his dinner and was wanting to be over by his mother.  Real fidgety until we gave him his "tablet" to look at and he focused on it... instead of this kid. I can never think of an time when we were allowed to stand on top of an chair... in an restruant... reguardless of our size. Let alone scream at every action made. My neighbors invited us out to dinner this Wednesday evening.

The balcony is cleaned off, so wet out there though.. that I think it needs and day to dry before I start the painting. But getting things cleaned off and cleaned up and stored elsewhere was half an day's project.  Some of my flowers that haven't come up I think are water logged...so more money to replant them. That is what I'll be doing again this week is more painting the areas that need it and if at all possible working on the garden. I do enjoy the sunshine though right now, though it's not hot as hades either for the season it is.... as yet...that may be coming up here soon. Then, back on my diet.
