Evening John. Nice to see you back, glad you enjoyed the air show, I'm sure some of your pics will be fine.

What a shame about the hotel, but I'm sure you know where to go to give it the relevant review. Name and shame, that's what I do Smile

Knew you would enjoy it John. Did you go on an organised coach trip?? cos usually the hotels are reasonable if not above.

That is quite a distance from the show John, did they make you do extra travel for such a disappointment, I am sorry to hear it was not up to scratch. I am pleased the show itself was good- we did wonder how you faired with weather as well. I hope you are not being very self critical over your pics, sure there will be some good'uns in there to share.

I believe the F35 did have some problems and it will not be at Farnborough till later on at least. The helicopters going back and forth taking the elite to and from the show ( they go over our garden every year ) but not so many as usual.

Good for you John, if it's an organised trip and you give the hotel a bad review on Trip Advisor they might get a new place for next time. I know there are some stupid reviews on TA but you can normally pick out the genuine ones from the idiots.

I actually read a review the other day and the reviewer was upset at the hotel because it was dark when they arrived, due to an accident on the M6 - you do have to wonder.
