We've been to Italy loads of times James, never had a bad experience there, but Amsterdam was a different matter, I was very careful to check Trip Advisor after that experience. Then there was the time I booked a very nice hotel in Berlin, it wasn't until it got dark that we realised I'd booked it in a certain area of Berlin Wink

Hi All, trust all is well. James said about Gonul and not seen her for a while, there are a load of names one could list out wondering how they all are, quite a lot of our friends across the pond have been away such as Ruth Gregory to name but one.

For once NO, I just happened to wash me dinner down tonight with a drop of John's brew, quite partial to the Spitfire.

Don't forget Babara either, though she's showed up more recently then the others. What do you suppose they are all doing right now?

Thunderstorms went through, kids drove through them to "camp" and today is the hottest day in the next coming week at 93 degrees.

I've lost 5 pounds in four days from the dehydrator on the new air conditioner taking the selling out of my body since we plugged it in. air is cool and easy to breathe.

I've lost 25 per cent of the plants from the weather over the last couple of weeks..I don' tknow if I can revive them or the lawn or not.

My sister is currently here..she goes back to her apartment tomarrow. She wanted me to make her some "bread pudding" to send home with her...so I thought..I don't have any day old bread, I'll stop by the store and buy some hot dog buns...1/3 the price of bread these days. Outside...watermelons on sale, HUGE watermelons. I picked one up and could barely carry it, on my way in I'm asking an store clerk on his way out..."Cart, I need an cart ..before I drop it"..well we made it inside and he whipped out an cart in my direction and it barely got to me before I was able to drop it with an thud into the cart, and said.."Thank you!"...Looked up up and there's my brother and his wife staring a me, she's laughing, he's giving me this look like "Sissy..your getting to be an wimp"... brought it home and half it goes with my sister to her house tomarrow. As it was, the store clerk rolled it kind of into the cart to haul out, the store...but dropped the chocolate chip cookies, I'd bought for if my grandson comes over. So much for shopping days. I'm currently living with one check in my checkbook. Ouch!
