  Glad you are ok now Ruth, sporting injuries are not something I know much of, totally useless at PE at school to the point that the PE teacher nicknamed me Harry after Harry Worth and said why.

             This is not devious but you will need to know the word in the context of the picture. the only clue is Egypt but that may just confuse. 

You're perhaps lucky then that you were Harry Worth, you escaped injury. I played hockey, rugby, football, I ran, I jumped, I threw stuff, I swam, I spent a lot of time in A&E. Now I suffer.

Sand ? 

  Not sand and that is a bit of a list to own up to,

 I've not done sport or watched it either, the only one I do watch if I ever get the chance is Drag Racing.
