Thanks folks, amazingly clean run. Home by 9.15 including 1 'natural' break  and a bit of stop and start round J31 M61following the aftermath of a coming together of a few vehicles plus the 10 mile 'average' 50 on the M62. So quite happy with that. My cold is now streaming, so unpack and early night I think and start planning next year!!!!

Yes fine thanks James. It's the family Christmas bash tonight, I've just risked life and limb walking to the village shop on the icy footpath to get some money from the cashpoint, so when we get off the bus tonight we don't have to walk miles to the bank.

it has been like a summers day down Seaton even someone in swimming ,

Swimming Surprised they must be mad. It's been frosty all day here, it's never got warm enough to melt it.
