Thank goodness for that I say and yes, I am referring to Wimbledon. All heads this way, all heads that way, sometimes for hours on end!

Can't believe people actually pay to go sit there and watch it.

I am not a great fan of tennis either, having lived near a tennis court in my childhood, and all you could hear through the summer months was the sounds of shouting and  the 'bonk bonkity-bonk' sound of tennis balls being whacked.

However, it is obvious from looking around at our obese nation, interest in sport should be encouraged, and anything which gets people moving is good.

Unfortunately, most people are content to watch it on TV, which doesn't really help.
