I have a bunch on my Photobucket page: http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/ff328/ruthyg_photos/ BTW, that's pronounced Photo-boo-kay. |

It was our dog Denzil's first camping trip. We camped on the Big Boquillas Ranch, owned by the Navajo Nation. The ranch is 491,000 acres, so most of it is relatively remote. It's located about 150 miles NW of Phoenix, just north of the town of Seligman. The old historic Route 66 runs through Seligman - most of you know about Rt. 66 from the song, sung by many artists, but most famously by Nat King Cole. Someone asked not to long ago (I think it was Toby), if there was a POA or POUSA site, but I've yet to find one. So here's a link to my Photobucket page with some pics of our camping trip, a little bit of USA. Hope you enjoy them. It's like a different planet here compared to green and pleasant Merry Olde. :-) The fastest and easiest way to scroll thru the pics is using the slideshow feature. http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/ff328/ruthyg_photos/Boquillas%20and%20Rt%2066/

My nephew got back from his tour of the USA but I haven't seen his photos yet as he had to head straight back to university in Liverpool. Have seen some of the photos of his companion on Facebook though. What an experience he had - think it has changed his complete outlook on life for the better. |

And by the way, if anyone tries to follow the links in my previous (5 months ago *-) post, I've moved off PBase. You can now find various stuff at http://lphilpot.zenfolio.com instead. |

I've seen sunrises in Louisiana in the swamps which have been absoluely stunning. Another chap I know in Texas takes photos of various nebulea and such like, and his photos are nothing short of astonishing. If you find his photos---Todd Hargis--his photos off his Nikon D3 defy belief. Edited by: Paul Hilton at:14th October 2009 19:17 |
