Morning Stephanie, yes, you'd be surprised how close kingfishers are sometimes! I'm still trying to get a decent shot of one, I've seen four now in different locations since early July but they are very elusive. I've posted the pictures of the spider and the damselfly (10 in all), it was an interesting 10 or so seconds!

Well yes Wolf, but I just got lucky and happened to see the damselfly get trapped in the web....then, out comes the spider and that was it really. Luck, luck and more luck. It's a job focussing though, they're both small creatures and it was non-stop movement!
