Catherine - Thank you for your comments on my Whitlingham country park pics, they are my favourites, I only live down the road from the park so find it easy to get to anytime of the day, I took those pics Friday evening thinking there was going to be a great sunset because it had been a sunny day but although the sky turned pretty colours the actually sun vanished under a cloud, there was a rather odd man hanging around down there as well but once he saw me wading into the water to get my shots I think he decided I was much odder than him and he cleared off.

Emma, thank you for not being angry with me after I run out on you friday to get my shots, I will never make hostess of the year will I Laughing

Thank's for your pic comments Emma and I agree that the man did have reason, they don't call me "crazy camera woman" for nothing, the lake was not as cold as the North sea is in february and I wonder why I can never get rid of my coughs and colds Smile

Walking down into the lake is what I call dedication to your hobby.

And I'm glad the odd man wandered off, as we would like you to be safe while out getting these wonderful pictures.

I've had a few unnerving experiences while bird watching on my own in the middle of nowhere, so we ladies need to be careful.

I agree totally Sue, I usually drag my hubby along with me moaning and groaning as we go, (him not me) my daughter was with me friday evening, I don't like going down there on my own in the day with just my soppy dog for protection let alone at dusk. I am so pleased you described me as dedicated, most people just say Im mad. Smile
