I've never boiled my conkers or soaked them in vinegar; how interesting. And that chap was daring letting those lads help hold the drill with his fingers so close. Great link, thanks Lyn. |

I think maybe that video was made before Health and Safety lol they would have to wear goggles, gloves, elbow and knee pads now LOL |

Hi Sue, are you a mind-reader or have you had your crystal ball super-charged? Only this morning I was at St. John's Church, Kirk Merrington to witness the blessing of a new stained glass window by Whitby based artist Alan Davis who specialises in this sort of thing. I chanced to take some pics in the church, which was the reason for my invitation from the Rev. Gary Norman. Haven't had a chance to see what they're lke yet, but hopefully in the course of the next few days I should be able to upload some along with pictures of another of Alan's windows, which was installed in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor earlier this year. There are one or two harvest pics among the shots I got this morning, hopefully. I'd say 'you are so clever, Sue' but I guess you're getting tired of being told that by now! |

And I don't think I would get tired of it at all. I can't wait to see you pictures. |

I think on my nightly run through I must have favourited about half a dozen! Wonderful shots of beautiful places, and all of them photographed by talented enthusiasts. Just one reason why it's very special to be a POElander!!! |

It's the only bird pic I got on our whole trip, I'm sorry to say. I had no idea he was a robin until I looked him up when I got home. The European robins aren't anything like the American robins. But they are the most awesome little birds. I wish we had them here. Thanks to everybody who left a comment too. Especially Wolf, you've got the brogue down pat, lol.
