I love the scrolling pictures on the Home Page, I can always find a picture I've never seen before, like the one I'm posting below. And I love the scroll bar at the top of the thread page, that is where I saw Roy's Long-tailed Tit because I had somehow missed it on the Latest Pictures page. Anyway, this picture by Lorraine is wonderful. Got to love those bright green spring leaves.

I hope to visit Allenbanks and Stawards Gorge again next weekend when I'm in Northumberland, so perhaps I'll get some winter views. It's a beautiful place. I love Roy's picture of the long tailed tit , they are lovely little birds. |

The red you can see is thousands of berries, rowan I think, which, along with all the other rowan bushes on the reserve attracted 300 or so fieldfares and 50 or so redwings yesterday. What a sight!! |
