Isn't that just a wonderful shot of Colin's above. Wow!

Here is one that contrast dramatically with the dark shot above. I love this one for it's bright, happy colour (I LOVE yellow), and that happy little bee all covered in pollen.

I have to say, on my next trip to England I'm heading north to Yorkshire and the Lake District (for starters).  So much England, so little time!  I love the stillness and the mood evoked by this photo by Richard:

And Jason - I can't say enough nice things about your photography.  Spectacular!  This one has beautiful colors, and it makes me think of God poking his finger through the cloud.  As always, well done lad!

Hi Barb, can I suguest you land at Manchester, base yourself in the Ribble vally (1 hour drive north), Hurst Green area is nice.(see Sues pics) An hours drive east will take you to Howarth (bronte Country) in north Yorkshire, an hoursdrive north, the Lake district, an hours drive west, the coastal resorts of Lancashire, an hours drive south, the cities of Liverpool or Manchester. thats if you want but the area around your base will make you want to stay there with your camera. (Dont forget this is Pendle Witch Country so read up on them before you come). Late May/june is great. Mike

Thanks so much, Mike!  Your suggested itinerary sounds fabulous.  I love Sue's pics, particularly of Hurst Green.  I will definitely give this serious consideration for my next trip there.
