404 feet and it was added when the building was already 80 year old, in about 1320 or something like that.  Boggles the mind!

It certainly does, as most of these buildings do. I was taking a good look at Beverley minster the other day and the architecture is amazing...to think there were no cranes, no cement mixers, not to mention a lack of electricity etc. How on earth did they build them????
