They would be free of charge (of course), but was just wondering if their was a market for such a thing. This enclosed photo is one that I have setup for 1024 screen size Picture by chris humphries

Please re-read. I have not mentioned A website! I was purely seeing if the kind people in here would think that giving away desktop wallpapers would be a good idea or not. I cannot see the harm in that. But apologies if I have asked a "prohibited" question. |

It is quite obvious that your desktops would refer to your website, otherwise what would be the point of doing it? In my opinion it is an attempt to gain kudos at our expense. Further, our members are quite able to produce a desktop from their own fantastic photograph's taken. The fact is that we at Pictures Of England.com have worked very hard over the years to gain the trust, the membership and the position in the search engines that we currently enjoy and we are not about to hand it to anybody else on a plate, that goes for you also! We have allowed you to keep the links to your website on all of your photographs submitted thus far, which will help you, whilst stopping other advertising in the forum so either accept the situation, or I shall have no other option other than to lock this thread and/or delete your posts/threads altogether! By way of this response we let our members see the reason for potentially locking this thread and/or deleting your posts, it's up to you! Do not be asking POE members to support your website via our forum again, not in any form!! Further, please remove the 'Update' on your website front page where you say you have 'teamed up with' www.picturesofengland.com , for nothing is further from the truth!
