My mum used to raise a few pigs before I came along (no comment Ron), we even had a pig hook, or meat hook in our kitchen, for hanging the pig after slaughter. Wish I'd taken pictures of our kitchen when I was young, but then it was just a boring old kitchen, but now I see it was a very old fashioned country kitchen. Will look for pigs on my next trip. |
