Thank you Diana, Ruth and Debbie. They are very special horses/ponies to us because they belong to my friends. We have seen some of the ponies grow up from foals over the years. On the pony shot they were galloping to get their dinner!

When we first started staying in Malborough we could not believe it when we saw that the sheep had a pinkish tint. Terry asked the owners why and they said it was grazing on the very red sandstone on their land. I must say we did not really believe it at first! Then the owners of the horses sent us pictures of the new horse last year who was a lovely grey/white horse. When we visited in May he had also taken on the pink/red tint just like the sheep from grazing there. I have never seen it anywhere else in the country. Strange....but true!

Along the same lines as the flamingos in Florida being pink from eating lots of shrimp?  Isn't that how that goes?  (Please correct me if I'm wrong!)
