Wow Stephanie! This really is a beautiful picture, one I have not seen before. I must save it to my favourites and go and post you a positive comment and give you 100 stars.

Well said, Steph.  It's always rewarding to either get or give some nice comment. To be honest, I would personally get rid of the 1 and 2 star choices and would leave from 3 to 5 star options only. I find that 3 stars (or silence) are more than adequate to mean "Not too bad, but you could have done a bit better with that pic, mate" ;-).

Hi All, yes have to agree with Steph and Mari on that. there are so many wonderful pics taken by talented photographers on this site. I am guilty of looking at photographs and thinking, 'Wow, that is fantastic!', but then not giving an evaluation on it! Pure laziness on my part.

I will take heed of what you say girls, and try to credit all the photos I view with an evaluation.

Raymond.

Steph, I have to agree with the others, you do have a gift for taking photos! Smile

I've never understood the need to make negative comments on some one's photos. If you don't like something, move on, there will be plenty of people who do appreciate what you can not. There is no need to be hurtful.

If you can't make a positive comment, then don't comment at all.

Thanks everyone. I took that photo quite a few years ago now. The flowers were so beautiful. Think it is time to revisit Symonds Yat this year.
