after only recently finding this website i am amazed at some of the pictures on here. Awesome does not describe it. my son is married to a Canadian girl and they send me some fantastic pics of canada but hey!, I hold my hand up that some of these pics of England take some beating, pity we English take our homeland for granted and are blind to its beauty. i will sure tell him to look at the site.

If I can't be in England in person, I want to at least see it every day, and the pictures on this site, are a visual feast.

Michael,

I completely agree with you.  I love my country, but I am totally in love with England and it's beauty.  So many of the friends that I made there find me to be "funny" how childlike I am with the amazement of natural beauty. Welcome to the POE, I know that you will enjoy. Everyday is like Christmas with a new gift of pictures.

Donna

Richard, totally agree with you!  If you can't be there in body, be there in heart and spirit.  BTW, what part of the US are you from?

To all who reads this, my profile picture is obviously not me, a bit older than a 4 year old, but she is my beautiful granddaughter who was priveleged to be born in Cornwall, Truro to be exact.

Have a great day,

Donna

Thanks guys, only the other day someone on Tv was discusing the worldwide 'Credit crunch' and asked a middle aged lady in the high street how it had affected her. she repied ' Well, I always holiday abroad but this year I shall have to tighten my purse-strings and holiday here in the UK, I'm not looking forward to that', she added. lol.  None so blind as those that go around with their eyes closed.
