The whole presentation consists of pictures of different places with music in the background but no explanation of the cities and villages shown. Any idea of where this lovely street is located? Picture by Ricardo Malagueño In order to include it in this post, I inserted the picture in my profile and it was approved as being of the Rye, Sussex. Is that correct? Thank you Ricardo

The flat part you're thinking of Pete used to be the bottom of the sea surrounding Rye when it was a Cinque Port and the sea came up to the hill it's built upon. |

It is a privately owned village, owned by the Rouse family, and I think you can only rent property there. It looks lovely, but living there has its problems: provisions etc. have to be brought down on sledges that glide over the cobbles. |
