The Yorkshire Wolds hill country is beautiful, plus it's near to York, one of the great medieval cities of the UK. I'm seriously considering staying in this area on my next trip over. |

Beverly looks like a lovely town, with its minster. I'll be posting some pictures of Wimborne Minster in Dorset, which is about the same vintage as Beverly, but might be a bit smaller. Stephanie, you said, "Felt like I had been there before - really strange feeling of belonging there." That's what a lot of Americans feel when they go to England. I felt that way about N. Yorkshire, not really like I'd been there before, but more like I belonged there, it felt comfortable, like home.
