I know this will have been talked about before 

But I thought this site was as its name suggests was for pictures of England ???

Towns

Counties Ect

Well after looking at a hell of a lot of the pictures in these headings I have to say

60% of the uploaded images have little or no relevance to the subject at all 

and these images should be under a new heading named anonymous images

I'm sure you are aware of this, but the topic of picture categories/headings has already been discussed recently in another thread here: http://www.picturesofengland.com/forum/Picture_Chat/3678/1 and as such we have deleted the posts in this duplicate thread.

The other reason we deleted the content of this thread is because it contained false and inappropriate information. Please can we remind people that this is a public forum! The link that was posted was in our opinion a highly irresponsible thing to do and had the potential to compromise our site (had the information been correct!). It would have been far more appropriate for the poster to contact us privately given the sensitive nature of it.
