The attractions listed are Brean Down, Avon Gorge, Birnbeck Pier and Steep Holme Nature Reserve which is in the Bristol Channel and is reached by boat. cathyml Posts: 23275 Joined: 25th Jan 2010 Location: South Africa	quotePosted at 18:01 on 3rd September 2010 Our journey through SOMERSET is almost at an end, we have seen moors & woodland, lakes & rivers & streams, historic buildings and towns, quaint villages, caves and gorges and beautiful gardens, seaside resorts and harbours - Somerset seems to have it all and more. Our last port of call is BRISTOL on the River Avon with numerous attractions in and around the City. Cabot Tower, SS Great Britain, Red Lodge & Oldbury Court Estate (sorry no pics), Bristol Zoo, Cathedral, @ Bristol Planetarium, Transport Museum and Replica of Matthew.
