Vince submitted a photo of the Old Post Office at Tintagel and said something like "one of the most photographed buildings."

Before POE I do not remember ever seeing pics of this building but it has captured my imagination and I love the pics taken of it.  Which brought me round to thinking that it didn't matter if it was photographed in rain or sun or cloud, the building just looked great in all weathers.

Here are a few examples:

Do you have a favourite building, attraction, town, village, view, scene that you love, never mind the weather?

Here is another set of pics, taken from roughly the same angle as each other (like the set above) in different weather conditions.  I think that the castle remains equally fascinating in each.

Well as you could all guess The Cornish Engine House would be my favorite subject in any weather.

Most of the photos are in bright weather but I have seen many taken in various other situations. Carn Galver comes to mind , a couple of engine houses on the B3306 between St. Ives and St. Just-in-Penwith are often photographed at sunset with the sun setting either over the buildings or through the window openings. By the way , the B3306 mentioned has the reputation of being one of the most scenic drives in Britain.

Sue Bristo takes us to the same spot through the seasons, and each picture has a beauty all of it's own.

Go to Sue's pictures page, you'll not be disappointed. She is one of my favourite contributors to POE.

Lovely, Sue!  I especially love the autumn ones.

Lorraine did two from the same spot in Northumberland:

They are stunning, Ruth.

You can't beat the green in the spring picture though.
