Before POE I do not remember ever seeing pics of this building but it has captured my imagination and I love the pics taken of it. Which brought me round to thinking that it didn't matter if it was photographed in rain or sun or cloud, the building just looked great in all weathers. Here are a few examples: Picture by Vince Hawthorn Picture by John Wynds Picture by Martin Hayhurst Picture by Karen Richardson Do you have a favourite building, attraction, town, village, view, scene that you love, never mind the weather?

I think that the castle remains equally fascinating in each. Picture by SAMANTHA CLARKE Picture by Roy Jackson Picture by SAMANTHA CLARKE |

Most of the photos are in bright weather but I have seen many taken in various other situations. Carn Galver comes to mind , a couple of engine houses on the B3306 between St. Ives and St. Just-in-Penwith are often photographed at sunset with the sun setting either over the buildings or through the window openings. By the way , the B3306 mentioned has the reputation of being one of the most scenic drives in Britain. |
