And to those who have taken an interest in the inane ramblings of the Lakeland Meanderer again I thank you. It has all been fun, both taking the pictures, which by and large this year, I have been amazed with what I have managed to salvage due to the weather, and also taking the time to carry on with my scribblings from the Ambleside and surrounding fells and Lakes. The comments to the images only make me want to get out and take more photos for your pleasure. I am already making plans for next year which hopefully will include some places other than the Lake District although that will certainly feature somewhere along the line So once again thank you all, it really is appreciated and makes going out in all weathers all the more worthwhile Happy New Year to all and to those who go out with cameras lets hope for a better year so that we can take even better photos to keep POE going |

The Pics that you have put on Dave are always of a superb standard and of great subjects, you once said that Ron and co have always authorised each and every pics submitted, says a lot in it's self ( afraid I cannot make that claim ). Drink is raised and keep up the brilliant work.
