I was wondering if there was a way for us to reply to a comment on one of our own pics without having to leave a star rating? I'm starting to feel kind of rude by not thanking or responding to nice comments, but it doesn't feel right leaving a rating for one of my own pics. Truly, its the only reason I don't leave many responses to comments. Love this website so much! I've travelled to England 3 Summers in a row and have gotten a lot of my destinations from viewing this beautiful website. Finished uploading for this year-- hope to be back again next July! Don't worry about the star thing, and post a comment if you wish, or come here to the forum and start a thread. You could call it 'Kips Comments' or 'Kip says Thank You'. That way we can all read it because I doubt too many people go back and read the comments under a picture even if they do look at the pictures again. Keep up the wonderful work. As Sue suggests you make a Thankyou thread or if you want to be a bit more personal just send a PM to whomever, Somewhere along the the bottom of the comments box is a link to 'contact user' or something like that, that will allow you to send individual mails to whomever you wish. Even if you have finished uploading please keep coming back to view and make comments of your own. And as I often do look back into your past photos and you will always find something else to upload. Thanks! kip If I respond to a comment on my own pics I only give my response one star which seems to be the accepted procedure as many others do it this way.
