I am finally going to jump into the digital age and I am wondering, according to what I have found out by searching the web, that Nikon's smaller sensor wil let me use one lens. A 18-135 or 18-140. From what I have found this one lens would be almost equal to my two film lenses a 35-70 and 70-210. Am I correct on this? This will make my choice of body and lens easier.

The simple way is to multiply the focal length by 1.5, thus making 50mm = 75mm when used with a Nikon not equipped with a full frame sensor. Enjoy the new experience, you will not regret it. Happy New Year.

Thank you. This was the main reason I was hesitant to switch to digital. Happy New Year to you too.
