I think the trees at either side and the branches in the foreground provide a nice frame for the water without any cropping. Just my opinion, others may differ

I think Crop 1 is least desirable with the branches partially cropped out, leaving a rather ugly jumble in the centre of the lower part of the frame. But that's just my opinion. |

I have uploaded what I think is the best crop which is based on crop 1 but showing more of the fallen tree. I have uploaded to photobucket the crop leaving the fallen tree out. With this I have pulled the sides of the image in. This crop allows more focus on the sunlite tree in the center but I think the fully framed image that I have put on POE is marginally better.
