I'm planning a 3-4 days trip to England with my sister and her fiancè, so I really need some advices/information. We will land at Stansted Airport at 23:30 (I haven't booked yet, but this is the schedule), but I would like to visit the English countryside or a market town instead of London (even if it would be much easier to reach London from the airport). I know there are lots of information about market towns and villages in this beautiful website, but I'd like to ask if you could recommend a nice market town or village near that airport. I actually would love to visit the Cotswolds (that would be my dream trip), but we won't hire a car. I'm sure I forgot something :) but I really hope you will help me to plan my trip to this amazing Country! Thanks for reading, Adriana |

It should be fairly easy to get around on buses and trains I guess - but sure someone who lives nearer would be able to help with that information! http://www.picturesofengland.com/England/Essex North of Essex is Suffolk, south of Essex is Kent and west is London and Hertfordshire. All lovely counties to visit. For more information of these counties go to the top of the page and click on Counties in the green strip under the Pictures of England.com sign. Hope this helps!

I just hope I will find a bus directly from the airport at that time! I guess I should first decide my destination and then ask someone about how to get there! Thanks a lot for your help :) |

I'm still trying to plan my trip, so I hope my posts won't bother all of you :) I found this website and I think the prices are not so bad. Could you please let me know if I can trust this taxi company? This is the address: http://www.thestanstedtaxicompany.co.uk Thanks for your help. Have a lovely day, Adriana |
