Hello all.  I have been a BIG fan of this site for some time.  I lived in England for 15 years with my English DH before returning to the USA.

Many welcomes to the forum, Roses (I wonder if you'll choose a rose for your avatar?).

It really is a wonderful site, and even better now they have a forum to chat on.

Looking forward to your posts and pictures.

We see Roses and think of chocolate here in the UK, don't we fellow members? It was a caption used by Cadburys to market sweets which was obviously successful! 'Roses grow on you' was the caption....lets hope you grow to love this great website.

So that's started me off again. What captions from adverts stick with you? 'Beanz means Heinz' for example, or the cigar ad that was eventually banned, now what was that? Anyway, welcome Roses to POE....everything you could ever want at your fingertips!

You need to open up another thread for captions, Ron. My friend and I are are always laughing about the old days commercials.

I can think of tons, like

One Thousand and One, cleans a big, big carpet for less than half a crown  .
