Hi Roland (Labrador)

Welcome to a great site where the members will very shortly be offering there own best wishes, of that I am sure. The fact that POE (acronym for Pictures Of England) has already got your pictures is a plus for us all. When you have time to start looking around this site you will find all sorts of interesting articles along with many posts in this forum that will keep you busy (and laughing) for hours. It really is a family friendly site driven by a couple that really care, enjoy!

Hi Roland, welcome. Nice to hear that you go out and take photo's. Not only a new interest, but from a trike, a new perspective. We all take photo's from a standing position, unlike in the old days of looking down into the camera at waist level. I am going to have to get my weary old bones down closer to the ground and try low level photography as well.

Keep up the interest, its good to know that more of us diabled are out there taking pics. Enjoy the site and let us know how you are getting on.

Roland, yes! I saw your picture of Avebury and remembered one I had taken many years ago, 1995 in fact, of the very same tree. I was so inspired by your lovely shot that I submitted my own.

Welcome to this wonderful site, you will spend many a happy hour travelling to places that offer such beauty, without leaving your own home.

Look forward to seeing your future submissions.

Hi Peter Thanks for your comments on the seal shot. The trick on how not to get your wheel chair wet. Is to use the computor I edited my photo, cropping, enhancing and enlarging, it seemed like walking on water.
