I'm looking forward to spending time seeing everyones' pictures, to me that's as enjoyable as taking pictures and posting them myself. I have many pictures to post here but not too many hours to post them unfortunately as I run my own courier business and it takes up a lot of my time. It is, however, the perfect ocupation to feed my passion for photography as it takes me all over this beautiful country of ours. I am 49, nearly 50, and have always been interested in photography...although I have only been taking pictures with a half decent camera for a couple of years or so. I am lucky enough to live in South Cave, East Yorkshire, a small town surrounded by countryside and some of the friendliest people in the UK. I am originally from Portsmouth and have to admit I miss the south coast, but the North East coast of England has its' fair share of rewards, so that is ample compensation. I use a Fuji S5600 camera, it's something I would be loathe to part with and I take it everywhere on my travels. Thank you again to all of you who have been kind enough to look at my pictures, I look forward to seeing the UK through your eyes and lens. Congratulations to the staff at POE, this really is a lovely site and I can't wait to explore it as thoroughly as possible. Andy. 21/03/2008 |

But I can hardly believe that you posted at 07:52 today and I am the fifth person to greet you!! I am often the first to greet a new member but I think there are a few people out there who actually carry a laptop around with them specifically trying to 'beat Ron' to the welcome bit! And if you haven't guessed already this is what Lyn was eluding to with the na,na,na,na,na! The POE Guestbook is another area of the site that will keep you occupied for days on end. There are some brilliant comments from visitors who just love what Chris and Sarah have put together and continue to maintain. Anyway, enough from me now but don't forget to join in with the banter where you can......there a funny lot really! |
